Role: VFX Supervisor | Team: 90+ Artists (Global)
nominated: Special, Visual & Graphic Effects
I supervised Scanline’s contribution to The Witcher Season 4, leading a multi-site team across Montreal, London, Munich, Seoul, and Mumbai. We delivered a diverse body of ~300 shots, ranging from invisible integration to the season’s most technically demanding heavy-FX sequences.
Our work was highlighted by Client Supervisor Sara Bennett in Art of VFX and is featured in the Eyeline Breakdown Reel, which showcases the specific sequences and technical assets I supervised.
Massive Environments: Constructed the season’s central set pieces, including the expansive ‘Mahakam’ dwarven mountain stronghold and the fully digital bridge environment for the finale battle.
High-End FX & Creatures: Directed the ‘Bridge Orc’ creature animation and signature fluid simulations for Yennefer’s oceanic climax and the river journey in episode 8.
Battle Integration: Orchestrated the digital crowds, army and refugee camps, and visceral combat enhancements (gore, pyro, weaponry) that defined the season’s gritty aesthetic.
